As a Senior Expert for Customs Regulations & Risk, you will join the central Regulatory Framework & Risk team to oversee global customs compliance and governance. Your daily responsibilities involve shaping the global customs process landscape by defining standards and best practices aligned with international frameworks. You will serve as a key advisor to over 200 experts across 90 countries, ensuring that customs processes are seamlessly integrated into the company's end-to-end system landscape. A major part of the role includes maintaining the global risk management process and translating complex regulatory requirements into clear IT specifications and process documentation. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys high-level strategy combined with operational process design. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Customs, Law, Economics, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on Foreign Trade.

Experience

  • Long-term relevant professional experience in customs and operational process design
  • Professional experience in implementing customs regimes and special procedures within IT systems
  • Proven expertise in translating trade compliance requirements into technical IT specifications
  • Experience working within a global operating environment and managing international stakeholders
