As a Commissioning Engineer for Functional Testing, you will play a critical role in the final stages of rail vehicle production. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting comprehensive functional tests on rail vehicles according to strict testing instructions. You will independently verify electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, ensuring every component operates correctly before deployment. A significant portion of the role involves complex troubleshooting and diagnostics using circuit diagrams, technical specifications, and drawings to identify and rectify faults in software, climate control systems, and electrical circuits. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, ideally with further qualification as an Electrical Technician or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in testing and commissioning of complex technical systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis using technical drawings and functional plans
  • Experience handling electrically active components and assemblies
  • Experience working in confined spaces and at heights up to 4 meters
