Job Summary

As a Function Developer for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), you will take ownership of the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) function throughout the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept to Start of Production (SOP). Your daily responsibilities involve defining functional scopes and performance targets, creating detailed requirements and test cases, and conducting rigorous validation across test benches, vehicles, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) environments. You will act as a central point of contact, collaborating closely with developers, system architects, and clients to ensure seamless integration. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy a mix of theoretical design and hands-on testing. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience with Driver Assistance Systems, ideally focusing on ACC or longitudinal control
  • Experience in performing tests on test benches, vehicles, or HiL systems
  • Proven experience in defining functional scopes, performance targets, and validating technical requirements
  • Experience working within structured project management environments involving cross-functional collaboration
