Job Summary

This role involves the end-to-end development and maintenance of electronic systems used in the extraction of fossil fuels. As a Hardware Developer at Brunel, you will be responsible for conducting root cause analysis on existing products, testing electronic circuits, and designing both analog and digital hardware. You will play a critical role in supporting PCBA manufacturing processes with a focus on quality and cost-efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include building test environments, qualifying electronic components, and managing temperature and vibration testing. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy cross-departmental collaboration and working closely with external suppliers. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in hardware development
  • Specific experience in energy technology or extraction/conveying technology
  • Experience in creating circuit diagrams using CAD programs
  • Proven experience in automation and control electronics
  • Experience managing temperature and vibration testing including data evaluation
