Job Summary
This is a prestigious six-week internship program hosted by Oppenhoff & Partner, one of Germany's leading independent law firms. Based in Cologne, the 'Summer University' offers ten selected law students the opportunity to move beyond the lecture hall and engage directly with commercial law in a professional setting. Participants will work actively on client mandates across two different practice areas, supported by dedicated mentors. The program is designed to be immersive, featuring a mix of practical legal work, group assignments, and specialized workshops. Beyond technical legal training, the internship emphasizes professional development through soft-skill training and numerous social events designed for networking. Required Skills
Education
Enrolled student of Law (minimum 3rd semester completed)
Experience
- Current enrollment in a Law degree program
- Completion of at least 3 semesters of legal studies
- Proven track record of high academic achievement
- Demonstrated interest in economic and commercial contexts
- Experience working effectively within a team environment

- Must be available full-time for the specific duration from August 10 to September 18, 2026, at the Cologne office location.
