Job Summary
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to manage the digital financial landscape of a growing pet dental care manufacturer. You will be responsible for the end-to-end digital accounting cycle, including processing invoices via OCR/DMS, managing automated payment imports from major platforms like Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok Shop, and performing bank reconciliations. Beyond daily bookkeeping, you will play a key role in month-end and year-end closings according to HGB standards, prepare liquidity forecasts, and generate business evaluations (BWA) for management. What makes this position unique is the heavy focus on automation and process optimization; you will actively drive the transition to future-proof digital workflows. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellter), Financial Accountant (Finanzbuchhalter), or a comparable professional qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Proven experience with HGB financial reporting and German tax law
- Experience in managing digital interfaces and automated data flows
- Experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements
- Professional background in processing travel expenses and intercompany reconciliations
