Job Summary
This role involves providing technical support to the sales department during the quotation phase and managing order processing, including contract reviews and master data maintenance. You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of products in collaboration with materials engineering, process engineering, and production planning. A core part of your daily work will involve the design of single-core and multi-core cables with both symmetrical and asymmetrical structures, as well as specialized custom cables based on customer requirements. Additionally, you will manage product labeling and coordinate software-based changes for coding and logos. This position offers a stable, permanent contract and is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of sales, engineering, and production within the cable manufacturing industry.
Required Skills
Education
Completed 3-year technical vocational training plus a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical design and construction
- Experience in the design of symmetrical and asymmetrical cable structures
- Experience using SAP and calculation tools
- Proven experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks
- Experience in cross-departmental coordination with materials and process engineering
