Job Summary
As a member of the technical support team at HDG-Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing high-end packaging machinery. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating service requests, providing technical support via email and phone, and performing troubleshooting and fault analysis. You will also be responsible for adapting PLC programs and web-based visualizations, determining spare part specifications, and supporting machine modernizations. This role is unique for its blend of technical design and field application, as it includes supporting commissioning activities at customer sites both within Germany and internationally. Required Skills
Education
Vocational training with further qualification as a Technician or Master Electrician, or a completed degree in the field of Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in technical support, automation, or electrical design within a mechanical engineering context
- Experience in adapting and modifying PLC programs and visualizations
- Proven track record in troubleshooting and technical fault analysis
- Experience in commissioning machinery at customer sites

Additional
- Valid driver's license (Class B/PKW) is required. Willingness to travel for assembly and commissioning activities both domestically and internationally, with an expected international travel share of approximately 30%.
