Job Summary

As a Test & Commissioning Technician at Brunel, you will play a vital role in the deployment of electronic and digital interlocking systems for rail infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities will involve testing and commissioning control and signaling technology according to strict technical requirements, performing detailed error analysis, and implementing corrective measures. You will serve as a technical liaison for customers and internal departments, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through technical clarifications and documentation. Beyond commissioning, you will support customer training and occasionally perform maintenance or repair work on railway signaling systems. Required Skills

Education

Degree as a Mechanic for Railway Signaling, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Master Electrician, State-Certified Technician, Bachelor of Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in testing and commissioning of control and signaling technology or electronic/digital interlocking systems
  • Experience in performing technical clarifications with customers and contractors
  • Experience in error analysis and the implementation of technical correction proposals
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of railway signaling equipment

Languages

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Must be willing to travel for business and work outside of standard office hours. Participation in on-call shifts is required.
