Job Summary

This role is for an Onsite IT Support Technician to join a team providing IT infrastructure support for a chemical company. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing software and operating systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues both remotely and onsite, and managing repairs for various devices including desktops, notebooks, tablets, smartphones, and mobile handheld scanners. Key responsibilities also include initial configuration of new IT components, assisting with IT-related office moves, and providing direct user support at a service point. This position offers an opportunity for professional development within a supportive team environment and requires a background in IT support with strong technical skills in Microsoft Client applications and network infrastructures.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Management Assistant, PC and Network Specialist, IT Customer Advisor, IT System Electronics Technician, IT Service Technician, Information Electronics Technician, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the IT sector or a comparable role
  • Experience in Second Level Support, both remote and onsite
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
