Job Summary
This role involves working for an independent engineering service provider that specializes in hydraulic engineering, water management, civil engineering, and ecological planning for public sector clients. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, dimensioning, and calculation of construction projects across diverse sectors including flood protection, earthworks, sewerage, and road construction, as well as reinforced concrete and solid construction. You will initially receive mentorship and guidance to help you integrate into the technical team. The position is ideal for both experienced professionals and motivated career starters who possess a quick grasp of technical concepts and a structured, goal-oriented work style. Working in a modern office environment with flat hierarchies, you will utilize state-of-the-art CAD and calculation software while maintaining professional relationships with clients and internal trainees.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur, M.Eng., or B.Eng.) specializing in Hydraulic Engineering, Water Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience or academic background in hydraulic engineering, water management, or a related civil engineering discipline
- Experience in the design, dimensioning, and calculation of construction projects
- Proficiency in using specialized engineering software for CAD, statics, and hydraulic calculations
- Experience in drafting technical correspondence and construction descriptions
- Role is open to entry-level candidates (Berufsanfänger) willing to learn under mentorship
