Job Summary
This is a strategic leadership role within an established, internationally active family-owned pharmaceutical company based in the Bremen area. As the Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for the disciplinary and functional leadership of the QA team, driving the continuous development of the Quality Management System (QMS). Your daily responsibilities will involve steering GMP compliance, managing SOP/SMF documentation, and preparing for regulatory and customer audits. A key component of this role is acting as the Qualified Person (QP) according to § 14 AMG or as a Responsible Person (RP). Required Skills
Education
University degree in natural sciences or technology (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology) or a licensed Pharmacist.
Experience
- Several years of leadership experience in a professional environment
- Extensive professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in contract manufacturing
- Practical experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), or Production
- Proven expertise in national and international regulatory guidelines
- Experience in creating verification and validation documentation
