Job Summary

As a Network and Systems Control Specialist, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and troubleshooting of network services within a two-shift operation. Your primary focus is to ensure high system availability through qualified initial response measures and participation in on-call rotations. You will work closely with service owners to support operational workflows, maintenance tasks, and system changes while coordinating technical incidents across various interfaces. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy maintaining infrastructure documentation in tools like Confluence and thrive in structured environments. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.

Experience

Professional experience in IT infrastructure and network monitoring
Practical experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana or Icinga
Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL-based processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
Experience in managing both Linux and Windows environments
Experience in coordinating technical disruptions and managing cross-departmental interfaces
