Job Summary
This role is for a Financial Controlling Officer within the Finance Department of the Vorharz municipal association. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing financial controlling processes, including cost and performance accounting, report generation, and developing controlling instruments. Key responsibilities also encompass general financial management tasks such as budget planning, year-end closing, asset and debt management, and handling municipal levies and allocations. The position requires a highly organized, resilient, and communicative individual capable of working independently and as part of a team. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellter) or equivalent vocational training, or successful completion of Administrative Examination I.
Experience
- Professional experience in financial controlling or general financial administration
- Experience with cost and performance accounting (KLR)
- Experience with budget planning and year-end closing processes
- Experience in dunning and enforcement procedures

- Valid Class B driving license; willingness to use private vehicle for official travel (with compensation); willingness to participate in SOG on-call duty; willingness to serve as an election assistant.
