Job Summary

As a Senior Expert in AI Energy Networks, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of European energy infrastructure. Operating within the Energy Networks Technology & Innovation team, you will lead the definition, development, and execution of AI strategies to optimize grid operations and business processes. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with international Distribution System Operators (DSOs) to scale AI-driven solutions, managing cross-functional teams, and providing strategic leadership within the Digital & IT division. This position is unique for its high level of ownership, allowing you to bridge the gap between complex data science and real-world operational impact in the energy transition. You will act as a thought leader, representing the company in high-level technical discussions and ensuring AI initiatives are standardized and optimized across the group. The role offers a modern, hybrid work environment with significant flexibility and the opportunity to shape the future of sustainable energy through advanced technology.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in AI, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience in leading the definition and execution of AI strategies
  • Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and strategic projects
  • Experience in the European energy industry is highly desirable
  • Experience translating complex analytical problems into actionable business solutions
  • Leadership experience within a Digital or IT organizational context
