Job Summary
This role involves joining the 'Federal Control Center for Transfer and Quality Assurance of Infrastructure Data' within the Bavarian State Building Directorate. As a Computer Scientist, you will be responsible for the conception and implementation of FME workflows to validate infrastructure data, as well as the administration of FME Flow instances. You will play a key role in the further development and operation of web applications using technologies such as Apache, Flask, and PostgreSQL. The position is ideal for professionals with an affinity for spatial and geographic data who enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team. This role offers the stability of the German public service (TV-L E13), flexible working hours, and mobile work options. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science (Diploma or Master's) or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in software development and programming
- Experience in the development and operation of web applications
- Experience with spatial and geographic data processing
- Experience with ETL tools, specifically FME, is preferred
- Experience with IAM software and GIS software (Esri) is desirable
