Job Summary

As a Materials Tester in Leipzig, you will play a critical role in quality assurance for a manufacturing client. Your daily responsibilities will involve conducting non-destructive testing (NDT), specifically visual, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle inspections, to ensure the integrity of cast samples and products. You will be responsible for checking product labeling, documenting results according to NDT qualifications, and performing minor reworks as instructed. This role requires operating industrial equipment like forklifts and cranes to transport test samples. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy a structured early-shift schedule (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM). Required Skills

Education

Completed 3-year vocational training in a relevant technical field; Valid NDT certifications (EN ISO 9712); Valid Forklift and Crane licenses.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of completed subject-specific vocational training
  • Professional experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures
  • Valid certification in Visual Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing according to EN ISO 9712
  • Experience in documenting test results and following procedural instructions
