Job Summary
As a Measurement Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest precision and quality for an innovative industrial company. Your daily responsibilities involve programming and operating modern measuring machines based on technical drawings, setting up measurement centers, and conducting detailed quality controls on manufactured components. You will be responsible for checking dimensional accuracy, form, and positional tolerances while documenting results in inspection reports and initial sample inspection reports (ISIR). Beyond routine testing, you will actively contribute to process optimization by analyzing measurement results and developing new measurement strategies or automation solutions. This role is ideal for a quality-conscious professional who enjoys working independently within a collaborative team environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed further training as a Technician (Techniker), Master Craftsman (Meister), or a comparable qualification in the field of Metal, Mechanical Engineering, or Quality Assurance.
Experience
- Professional experience in tactile measurement technology is required.
- Experience in programming and operating modern measuring machines.
- Professional background in quality control, specifically checking dimensional accuracy and positional tolerances.
- Experience in creating inspection protocols and initial sample inspection reports.
- Experience in the metal or mechanical engineering industry is required.
- Experience with optical measurement methods is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in gear-related measurement is a plus.
