Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer in the field of plant engineering, you will be responsible for the end-to-end creation and modification of electrical circuit diagrams and schematics using EPLAN P8. Your daily activities involve managing the EPLAN database, updating electrotechnical components, and ensuring the accuracy of existing electrical drawings. You will play a critical role in planning control cabinet structures and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOM) and project articles. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about special-purpose machinery who enjoy technical documentation and database management. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Technician, or a University Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical design specifically within mechanical and plant engineering
  • Practical experience in creating and revising electrical circuit diagrams and schematics
  • Experience in managing electrotechnical databases and material master data
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations for machinery
