Job Summary
As a Data Analyst in the Global Finance Technology & Data team, you will be instrumental in shaping the data foundation for BMG's modern financial reporting, planning, and analysis. Working at the intersection of finance and technology, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable data models and reporting solutions across core platforms such as BigQuery, dbt, Looker, and SAP Datasphere. Your daily responsibilities involve building data pipelines, optimizing financial hierarchies for P&L and cash flow reporting, and driving automation to reduce manual processes. This role is central to BMG's strategic transformation, moving away from legacy structures toward a future-ready financial architecture. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring high data quality and governance. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and analytics engineering
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines and semantic models
- Experience with cloud platforms and tools such as BigQuery, dbt, Looker, or SAP Datasphere
- Professional background in financial reporting structures including P&L, cash flow, and budgeting processes
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder communication
- Experience with SAP financial environments and master data structures is an advantage
