As a Physicist in Sensor Development at G+D, you will be at the forefront of creating advanced sensors and control devices used for the automated identification of high-value objects. Your daily responsibilities will involve designing, simulating, and qualifying technologies that measure physical material properties and transforming these findings into functional sensor systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing complex systems by coordinating sensors, algorithms, and testing equipment. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Physics, ideally with a Doctorate (PhD).

Experience

  • Extensive practical laboratory experience in the design, construction, and operation of experimental apparatus
  • Professional experience in hardware development and sensor technology
  • Deep technical experience in solid-state physics, laser physics, and optical spectroscopy
  • Experience in modeling and simulating measurement processes, specifically in optical design
  • Proven experience in at least one programming language
  • Experience working within interdisciplinary expert teams
