Job Summary

This part-time (65%) research position at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg offers a 3-year contract for a motivated PhD candidate to join the Institute for Medical Epidemiology, Biometry and Informatics (IMEBI). As a Research Associate, you will focus on the mathematical modeling of disease processes within a multidisciplinary and international team. Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting scientific research, drafting grant applications for third-party funding, and publishing study results in academic journals. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional research experience in the field of data analysis is required

  • Experience in applying agent-based models is preferred
  • Experience in scientific reporting and publication of study results
