Job Summary
As a Service Technician at Sennheiser, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of a world-leading audio manufacturer. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve planning and performing complex repairs, structured error analyses, and maintenance tasks, occasionally directly at client sites. A unique aspect of this role is the focus on custom builds; you will implement individual customer requests by creating one-off pieces or small series, including modifying existing Sennheiser products. You will also be responsible for documenting these custom solutions and preparing them for CE certification. The position is highly attractive due to its blend of technical craftsmanship and administrative responsibility, such as managing data in ERP systems like SAP or JDE. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (minimum 3 years) as a Mechatronics Engineer, Electronics Technician, Radio and Television Technician, or equivalent; additional IHK professional training or equivalent experience required.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of technical vocational training (e.g., Mechatronics, Electronics, or Radio/TV Technician)
- Professional experience in a technical field or additional IHK professional training
- Qualified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft) certification
- Professional experience in technical troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in documenting technical processes and custom builds
