Job Summary
As a Network Specialist at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of connectivity solutions for medical systems. Your daily activities will involve providing IT services for medical system integration, developing innovative communication concepts, and implementing customized IT solutions for high-profile clients. A significant portion of the role includes providing 24/7 technical support, participating in on-call rotations, and conducting training for both internal and external stakeholders. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification. Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) or Linux (LPI) certifications are preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in Windows and Linux (Debian) system administration with a focus on networking and security
- Experience in remote customer support and end-user support processes according to ITIL
- Proven experience in the configuration of network components and firewall systems
- Experience in network troubleshooting and protocol analysis using Wireshark
- Experience in implementing VPN technologies and adhering to data protection regulations

- Willingness to work in a 3-shift model including 24/7 on-call readiness and shift rotations is required.
