As an Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for the approval and monitoring of facilities under emission control, water, and waste legislation. Your day-to-day tasks include evaluating technical reports, managing landfill technicalities, and providing expert opinions for third-party planning such as building permit processes. The position is highly dynamic, involving significant field work and participation in the water management emergency standby service. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in a relevant engineering field such as Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with a focus on Water and Waste Management or Emission Control.
Experience
- Professional experience in environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience in water and waste management or emission control is required
- Proven ability in independent, structured work and negotiation
- Experience in field work and external service activities
- Experience in evaluating technical audit reports (AwSV, AbwV)

- Class B driver's license and willingness to use a private vehicle for business travel (reimbursable); willingness to perform field work and work outside regular business hours for emergency standby duties; location is Coesfeld, Germany.
