Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer at WITT-Gasetechnik, you will play a central role in the independent creation of circuit diagrams and bills of materials for apparatus engineering and leak testing systems. Your daily responsibilities include developing modular concepts for cable harnesses, creating comprehensive EMC concepts, and conducting/evaluating EMC measurements. You will be responsible for selecting equipment for explosion-proof (ATEX) environments and providing holistic project support from the initial planning phase through to production handover. This role requires close technical coordination with suppliers and internal departments like project planning and service. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or degree in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Bachelor's degree, State-certified Technician) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in Electrical Design and Engineering
- Practical experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) measurement and evaluation
- Experience in selecting and evaluating equipment for hazardous (ATEX) areas
- Experience in project management from planning to production handover
- Experience in technical coordination with suppliers and cross-functional teams
Languages
Additional
- Knowledge of relevant directives such as the Machinery Directive, EMC Directive, and Low Voltage Directive is required. The role is based in Witten, Germany.
