Job Summary

As an Electrical Project Engineer for substations, you will be responsible for the technical planning and realization of substations within wind farm projects. Your day-to-day activities involve coordinating electrical and structural interfaces to ensure designs meet both technical and regulatory requirements. You will serve as a critical link between engineering teams, planners, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with customer specifications and grid codes. This role is essential for ensuring the safety, quality, and successful grid connection of wind energy plants. You will validate Balance of Plant (BoP) designs, manage technical interfaces across civil and electrical disciplines, and provide on-site support during construction and commissioning through inspections and Factory/Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT). Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Balance of Plant (BoP) planning for substations

  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards, grid connection, and construction requirements
  • Experience in coordinating with engineering teams and subcontractors
