Job Summary
As a Quality Engineer specializing in medical technology, you will be responsible for the operational quality management of active medical devices. Your day-to-day activities will involve translating electrical and mechanical test specifications into detailed in-process and final inspection protocols. You will play a critical role in product documentation by performing Device History Record (DHR) checks for final releases and managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure continuous product improvement. This role is deeply integrated into the manufacturing process, requiring active participation in shopfloor management and the analysis of product defect metrics. You will also support internal and external audits to maintain compliance. This position is particularly attractive as it offers a clear path from initial temporary placement to a permanent hire, allowing you to prove your expertise in a highly regulated and impactful field while working in interdisciplinary teams.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed technical degree (Bachelor/Master), ideally in Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification such as a certified Technician or Master Craftsman with relevant experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in a technical environment, preferably within the medical technology sector
- Experience in the inspection and testing of electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Experience in creating and evaluating quality key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Practical experience in handling technical documentation and design transfer processes
- Experience in managing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
