Job Summary

As a System Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and deployment of complex maritime reconnaissance systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing technical system definitions, managing project-relevant specifications, and ensuring seamless interface coordination between internal departments, suppliers, and external partners. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for subcontractors, evaluating their performance and supporting contract negotiations. Furthermore, you will oversee the documentation lifecycle within ERP and CAD systems and lead technical testing and acceptance processes, including Factory, Harbour, and Sea Acceptance Tests (FAT, HAT, and SAT). This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy a mix of technical documentation, stakeholder management, and hands-on system verification. Required Skills

Education

University degree (University or Applied Sciences) in an engineering field such as Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline.

Experience

  • More than 3 years of professional experience in system integration or technical project work
  • Professional experience in managing technical interfaces and collaborating with subcontractors
  • Proven experience in the specification, documentation, and testing of complex technical systems
  • Experience in the maritime industry is highly desirable
