Job Summary
As an IT Application Administrator at the Ludwigsburg University of Applied Sciences, you will join a modern IT team dedicated to providing high-quality digital services for over 2,900 students and faculty. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing 2nd and 3rd-level support, managing Windows-based end devices, and overseeing user permissions within a complex Microsoft Active Directory environment. You will also take ownership of central system services such as file and print services, software distribution, and network technology maintenance. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Computer Science or a related field; alternatively, a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration with several years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT application administration or system administration
- Experience in managing complex user rights and permissions in Microsoft Active Directory
- Proven track record in troubleshooting complex IT malfunctions and providing technical support
- Experience in the planning and implementation of IT measures and software rollouts
- Long-term relevant professional experience required if applying with a vocational qualification instead of a degree
