Job Summary

As a Sensor Systems Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of sensor systems for actuators within aviation units and systems. Your daily work involves the functional design and validation of systems while accounting for tolerances and environmental conditions. You will specify system and performance requirements in coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of tests on components and system test benches. A significant portion of the role focuses on applying measurement technology and evaluation tools to document results and derive release recommendations. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development, design, or validation of sensor systems, actuators, or mechatronic systems.
  • Experience in the functional design of safety-critical systems and requirements management.
  • Extensive experience in planning, conducting, and evaluating experiments and using measurement tools.
  • Professional background within the aerospace/aviation industry environment.
