Job Summary

As a Pharmaceutical Production Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous supply of life-saving medications to patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve creating and adjusting production schedules for semi-finished and finished pharmaceutical products based on market demand and capacity. You will independently monitor material supply, coordinate the end-to-end production process from order entry to shipment, and lead global and local planning meetings. This role requires close collaboration with departments such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control within a GxP-regulated environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining master data and developing innovative planning concepts. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of responsibility, the opportunity to work with modern tools like SAP S/4HANA and Power BI, and the security of a permanent contract with a global engineering service provider offering 30 days of vacation and employer-funded pension schemes.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, a relevant vocational training (e.g., Pharmacy, Technology, Logistics) combined with significant professional experience.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical production or production planning
  • Professional experience in a GxP/GMP regulated environment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing if applying with a vocational background instead of a degree
  • Experience in coordinating processes from order entry to shipment
  • Experience in leading global and local planning meetings
