As a High Voltage Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of complex high-voltage projects, including substations, switchgear, overhead lines, and cable systems. Your daily activities will involve technical project management throughout the realization phase, coordinating with clients, grid operators, and authorities. You will create technical specifications, tender documents, and oversee assembly, testing, and commissioning work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy a mix of design work and on-site supervision. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable engineering science.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning, design, and project engineering of high-voltage systems
  • Experience in technical project support during the realization phase
  • Proven experience working with technical standards and regulations such as VDE, IEC, and DIN
  • Experience in creating technical specifications and tender documents
  • Experience in monitoring assembly and commissioning activities
