Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer specializing in naval vessels, you will be responsible for the spatial and functional integration of command and navigation systems at the highest technical level. Your daily activities involve creating technical inquiry and order specifications while collaborating closely with internal departments, external partners, subcontractors, and authorities. A core part of the role is clarifying the interfaces between Combat Management Systems and external systems, such as fire control, weapons, and navigation systems. You will also prepare test specifications and manage the commissioning and handover processes both at subcontractor sites and onboard ships. This position is particularly attractive for those seeking a balance between technical depth and project coordination, offering a 35-hour work week and the opportunity to work on complex, large-scale maritime defense projects in an international environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the integration of complex technical systems
  • Experience in naval shipbuilding is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technical interfaces between weapons and navigation systems
  • Experience in preparing test specifications and conducting technical acceptance procedures
  • Proven track record of collaborating with external subcontractors and government authorities
