Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer specializing in Combat Management Systems (CMS) integration, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing mission systems for naval vessels. Your daily responsibilities will involve creating system definitions, coordinating functional interfaces between CMS and external systems, and managing subcontractor performance to ensure seamless operational workflows. You will be responsible for maintaining technical documentation within ERP and CAD systems and preparing critical test documentation to verify performance requirements. A significant part of the role involves technical collaboration with public clients, classification societies, and authorities. Furthermore, you will actively participate in the testing lifecycle, conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Harbour Acceptance Tests (HAT), and Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT). This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes maritime defense technology within a 35-hour work week, offering a balance of technical challenge and professional stability.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Systems Engineering, Naval Architecture, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in systems engineering or the integration of complex technical systems
  • Experience in maritime, defense, or safety-critical environments is highly preferred
  • Experience interacting with public sector clients or government authorities is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to coordinate functional interfaces between internal departments and external suppliers
