Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Metrology Technician at EMKA Group's headquarters in Velbert, you will play a vital role in the quality management team for a global leader in locking systems and hinges. Your daily responsibilities involve independent test planning for components across various production areas, creating comprehensive measurement reports, and conducting full sampling procedures according to VDA standards. You will be responsible for selecting, setting up, and programming measurement machines, specifically Keyence measurement projectors, to analyze complex parts. Beyond technical measurements, you will act as a problem-solver in production, handling supplier complaints, and training skilled workers on measuring equipment. Required Skills
Education
Technical training as a Tool Mechanic (Werkzeugmechaniker), preferably with further qualification as a Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in manufacturing metrology within the metal and plastics processing industry
- Experience in programming Keyence measurement projectors for complex components
- Professional experience in machining, casting, and stamping/forming technologies
- Experience in initial sampling processes (PPAP / PPF)
- Experience in training staff on measuring equipment and test programs
