Job Summary
This role involves providing hands-on technical support within a professional office environment in Cologne. As an IT On-Site Support Technician, your daily activities will include installing, configuring, and distributing client devices, managing hardware inventory, and providing second-level support to employees. You will act as a key interface for the onboarding of new staff, maintaining the internal knowledge base, and instructing users on hardware usage and support protocols. This position is ideal for service-oriented professionals who enjoy direct human interaction and troubleshooting. Required Skills
Education
Basic technical training in Information Technology (e.g., IT Specialist) or equivalent professional experience/career change with relevant practical background.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support or technical customer service
- Experience in installing and configuring client hardware and software
- Practical experience with Microsoft operating systems and mobile device management
- Experience working with Active Directory and ideally Microsoft Intune
- Proven experience using professional ticketing systems for issue tracking
