Job Summary
As a Systems Engineer for Military Projects at LEONARDO Germany GmbH, you will play a critical role in adapting and configuring military-grade radar equipment and systems. Your daily responsibilities will involve evaluating system designs, managing hardware and software configurations, and integrating successor models into existing frameworks. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of project delivery, from creating technical documentation and installation manuals to conducting internal tests and customer acceptance procedures. Beyond technical implementation, you will provide on-site training for customer personnel, support the sales team with technical proposals, and handle complaint management. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable engineering field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position working with complex systems
- Proven experience in high-frequency, communication, and radar technology
- Experience in PLC programming specifically with WAGO or Beckhoff systems
- Professional experience or existing contacts within the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) or public sector clients is highly advantageous
- Experience in commissioning and on-site training for complex technical equipment
