Job Summary
As a Senior Consultant for Model-Based Definition (MBD), you will drive digital transformation by advising clients on the implementation and scaling of MBD and Geometric Product Specification (GPS). Your daily responsibilities include analyzing and modeling development processes, identifying optimization potentials, and developing specific methods and demonstrators for MBD. You will act as a strategic advisor, planning roadmaps and leading project teams through the pilot phases of MBD introduction. Beyond technical consulting, you will empower stakeholders through coaching and training, participate in standardization committees, and support marketing and sales activities. This role is ideal for technical experts who enjoy bridging the gap between complex engineering data and strategic business processes. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field).
Experience
- Professional experience in the product development process and its sub-steps
- Practical experience in downstream processes such as process planning, inspection planning, or metrology
- Proven expertise in process and data modeling
- Practical experience in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ISO GPS)
- Experience in project management and technical leadership of project teams
