Job Summary

As a DATEV Application Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the IT department of a leading auditing and tax consultancy firm. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing the entire DATEV ecosystem, including the administration, support, and optimization of software environments. You will lead critical IT projects such as site migrations and client onboarding for 'DATEV Unternehmen Online,' while providing 1st and 2nd-level support to resolve technical issues. Beyond technical maintenance, you will act as a bridge between technology and business by conducting internal training and assisting colleagues with data imports, exports, and interface management. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of project management and technical troubleshooting. Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics, a comparable educational background, or vocational training in IT or as a Tax Assistant with a strong affinity for IT.

Experience

  • Initial years of professional experience in DATEV administration or support
  • Comprehensive experience working with DATEV software programs
  • Experience in leading IT projects such as site migrations or client onboarding
  • Professional experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting
  • Experience in a tax consultancy or IT service environment is preferred
