Job Summary
The Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician to support its atmospheric chemistry department. This role involves performing crucial laboratory work across various areas, including metal analysis, oxidative potential determination, and investigations in both liquid and gas phases. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring metal content in aerosol particle samples using Total Reflection X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy, determining the oxidative potential of particle samples, and assisting with both aqueous and gas phase laboratory studies. Additionally, the role includes providing technical support during intensive measurement phases in projects, at field stations, and in lab experiments, alongside ensuring the quality assurance of collected measurement data.
