Job Summary
As a Product Support Engineer for the Health Suite Patient Monitoring Platform (HSPMP), you will play a critical role in shaping technical support strategies for global healthcare systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing 'Level 3' escalation support, diagnosing complex system issues, and troubleshooting cloud-based and networked medical environments. You will act as a technical consultant for R&D teams and field service organizations, driving improvements in product reliability and lowering the total cost of ownership for customers. This role is unique for its high level of influence on the design process and its focus on fostering an open ecosystem through interoperability. You will be responsible for developing worldwide training materials and service communications, ensuring that Philips' market-leading monitoring solutions remain seamless and scalable in intensive care and emergency settings. This position offers a hybrid work model based in Böblingen, combining technical depth with strategic support management.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Health Science, Engineering, Electronics, Network Engineering, Medical Informatics, or equivalent. Preferred certifications include Cloud Architect/Administrator, CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, or CWTS.
Experience
- Professional experience in product support engineering and handling critical customer escalations.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure, networking tools, and support processes.
- Experience in developing and delivering technical training for field service teams.
- Professional background in Biomedical or Hospital IT environments preferred.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex hardware and software problems in a clinical context.

- Hybrid work model requires 3 days in the office (Böblingen) and 2 days from home. Position is permanent (unbefristet) and full-time.
