Job Summary
As an IT Systems Technician, you will manage the full lifecycle of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and internal IT infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include the manufacturing, installation, and repair of hardware, as well as the configuration of software components and the execution of critical system updates. Beyond hardware maintenance, you will provide essential technical support for the company’s internal servers, telephone systems, and clients, while offering remote and on-site assistance to users. This role is highly dynamic, involving product testing, collaboration with manufacturers on technical inquiries, and supporting management with project-based tasks. It is an attractive position for a hands-on professional who enjoys a mix of technical troubleshooting, hardware assembly, and internal system administration within a stable, permanent full-time framework.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT, System Electronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Completed vocational training in IT, System Electronics, or a comparable qualification
- Ideally 5-8 years of professional experience in the field of POS (Point-of-Sale) systems
- Professional experience in hardware maintenance, RMA processing, and technical troubleshooting
- Experience in supporting internal IT infrastructure including servers and telephone systems
