This versatile role involves designing, implementing, and testing AI/ML-based algorithms for imaging and data science within the life sciences sector. Day-to-day, you will program functionalities according to SW and MLOps processes, utilize the Python development toolset, and prepare complex data sets. You will be responsible for creating and analyzing neural networks, developing design concepts, and maintaining technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development of commercial AI research projects in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience in software and MLOps development processes
- Proven experience with Python and common libraries for data and image processing
- Experience in creating and analyzing neural networks and AI/ML algorithms
- Experience working independently and within interdisciplinary teams

- The role is based in Grödig, Salzburg. Candidates must be able to work within the framework of the Austrian collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry. Full-time position (38.5 hours/week) with home office options available.
