Job Summary

This role is based within the Office of the Vice-Rector for Financial Management, Legal Affairs, and Digitalization at the Medical University of Graz. As an IT Specialist, you will be the driving force behind AI integration, responsible for identifying and evaluating AI use cases and facilitating workshops with internal stakeholders to develop AI-supported workflows. You will lead AI projects, manage the university's AI portfolio, and conduct technology scouting to assess the usability of new tools. Beyond technical implementation, you will serve as an internal consultant and trainer, educating staff on AI applications. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys bridging the gap between advanced technology and organizational change. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related discipline.

Experience

Professional experience in the practical application of Artificial Intelligence
Experience in managing IT projects
Several years of professional experience in the relevant field if no degree is held
Experience in a university environment or similar organizational structures is preferred
Experience as a trainer or in knowledge transfer is preferred
