Job Summary

In this role, you will join the aerospace sector working for Airbus, focusing on the critical safety and quality of metallic aircraft components. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing non-destructive testing (NDT), specifically using Magnetic Particle (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) Level 2 methods. You will independently operate crack detection systems, document test results to ensure full traceability, and record order data within SAP. Beyond technical testing, you will play a key role in quality assurance by analyzing deviations, processing quality reports, and supporting continuous improvement measures. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester, Process Mechanic for Plastics and Rubber, Metalworker, or a comparable qualification with further training as a Master Craftsman (Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in quality assurance and crack detection
  • Experience in performing non-destructive testing (PT/MT Level 2) on metallic components
  • Experience in documenting test results and maintaining traceability
  • Experience working with SAP and MS Office systems
