Job Summary
As a BI Analyst within the Business Reporting IT department, you will be responsible for developing modern analytics, dashboards, and reports using Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services. Your daily tasks involve translating complex requirements from various departments—such as production, logistics, and sales—into clear KPI definitions and intuitive visualizations. You will play a pivotal role in migrating legacy systems to Power BI, designing high-performance data models using Power Query (M), and developing sophisticated DAX measures. Beyond technical development, you will act as a central point of contact for self-service users, providing templates, guidelines, and training. This position is ideal for analytical professionals who enjoy a mix of technical data engineering and business-facing communication. Required Skills
Education
Degree or vocational training with an analytical, technical, or economic focus, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development of professional Power BI reports
- Proven expertise in DAX and building clean KPI structures
- Practical experience with Power Query (M) and processing heterogeneous data sources
- Solid experience in modern data modeling techniques such as star schemas
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical KPI definitions
