Job Summary
As a High Voltage Operator, you will be responsible for executing switching operations on high-voltage (33 kV to 220 kV) and low-voltage systems in a professional offshore wind environment. Your daily activities involve acting as the designated person in charge of electrical installations (Anlagenverantwortlicher) according to DIN VDE 0105-100, monitoring SCADA systems for primary and secondary technology, and overseeing auxiliary systems like nautical markings and corrosion protection. You will also support wind turbine operators with remote troubleshooting and document all operations in maintenance management systems. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy working in a dedicated team and are comfortable with shift work. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in high-voltage and low-voltage switching operations
- Professional experience in a control room or control center environment
- Experience using SCADA and control systems such as SICS, WTC, or Bachmann
- Experience with electronic maintenance management systems
- Experience in offshore wind or energy sector preferred
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in shifts (including weekends and public holidays). Readiness for on-call duty. Knowledge of nautical markings and marine communication is preferred.
