Job Summary

This role is based within the Digitalization Office of the Senator for Finance in Bremen, focusing on the nationwide implementation and operational management of the 'Unified Corporate Account' (Unternehmenskonto). You will be responsible for coordinating cross-departmental digitalization projects under the Online Access Act (OZG), ensuring interoperability and user-centric development. Day-to-day tasks include stakeholder management, steering the national roll-out of digital components, and representing the state of Bremen in federal committees such as the IT Planning Council. The position is unique for its high-level federal impact, offering a secure public service environment in the innovative 'Tabakquartier' campus. Candidates will work in an agile, cooperative team to modernize public administration, bridging the gap between technical requirements and administrative policy at both state and federal levels.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent university degree, preferably in Information Technology, Economics, or Public Administration. Eligibility for the German 'Laufbahngruppe 2, zweites Einstiegsamt' (Higher Service) is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT project management or product management, including planning, steering, and controlling.
  • Practical experience in federal digitalization projects, specifically with OZG components like ELSTER or service accounts.
  • Experience in leading projects or managing complex technical roll-outs is highly desirable.
  • Professional experience navigating federal IT cooperation structures such as the IT Planning Council or FITKO.
  • Proven experience in communicating complex technical topics to diverse stakeholder groups and committees.
