Job Summary

This role involves performing molecular analyses according to standard operating procedures, including techniques like nucleic acid isolation, PCR, (RT)qPCR, ddPCR, S-EPTS/LM-PCR, TES, and sequencing, within a GCP/GLP/GCLP environment. The successful candidate will handle patient samples, meticulously document laboratory procedures and results, and contribute to general lab activities such as ordering, sample reception, and equipment maintenance. There will also be opportunities to optimize lab infrastructure, collaborate on new equipment setup, and assist in developing and translating GxP-compliant processes and documents. Ideal candidates will have a background as a BTA, BioTA, MTA, CTA, or a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology, coupled with practical experience in PCR-based methods and a meticulous work ethic. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a BTA, BioTA, MTA, CTA, or a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Practical experience in performing PCR-based methods
  • Experience in research and/or industrial laboratory settings, ideally in a GxP environment
  • Experience with molecular analyses such as DNA/RNA isolation, qPCR, ddPCR, and/or Next Generation Sequencing is advantageous
  • Working independently and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
